About two years ago we were directed to establish a prayer program whereby we would gather with willing folks and just pray. We pursued that quite extensively by seeking a location, willing participants, and determining a schedule. We settled on hotel locations, meeting on a monthly basis, and shared the vision with some people. After much effort we decided to put the idea to rest as the necessary funds were not forthcoming, and the people didn’t respond as we thought they would. We made it a personal calling and entered into a time of dedicated prayer at home.
Sometime later, we acquired our current meeting place. We began our services ministering especially on healing and then other areas as the Lord directed, always with the prayer idea on the back burner. A good foundation was laid for the ministry. At the beginning of 2020 it seemed the Lord was saying, Now is the time for prayer.
So, starting in February we will be praying. Each service will have a dedicated time of prayer. That will be our focus. Some among us may be called upon to lead in prayer as various formats are employed. We will include some worship, and a teaching time. Also, other ministries will be invited to participate at different times. And, to gather an ongoing momentum we will open the doors every Sunday.
Therefore, let it be known to all our readers that our program is changing. We invite all to join us in prayer. Bring your requests you want to pray about, find a comfortable place to kneel, sit, or lay before the Lord, and let us pray. -PJF-
