Esther 4:14 "For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
Esther was made queen and became quite comfortable in the palace. Her ethnic background, although hidden, never caused an issue. Not until the decree went out that all Jews be killed. But, she was queen, surely she was safe, right? No. She would have suffered the same fate as all other Jews if her family history were ever made known. She had to act. She had to step up, even if it cost her her life.
Today the church has become a modern day Esther. We have been able to hide out and blend in with almost every kind of group there is. The church is under severe attack from our government in the United States of America. We can sit back and think that it will not affect us if we continue to play the part or we can take a stand like Esther did and face this situation head on.
The time has come where being silent is no longer an option. It is time to push back and say enough! We will not be silent. The Bible is the standard and anything that goes against it is wrong. God sent his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus is the way. There is no other. The Church will not be threatened or silenced. Who knows, perhaps we are here for such a time as this. -SAF-
