I remembered a song I heard recently.
“God is on the move, on the move, Hallelujah. God is on the move, in many mighty ways. God is on the move, on the move Hallelujah. God is on the move, on the move today.”
( 7eventh Time Down )
Then I was taken back to the early 70’s when I would listen to this old African American preacher on the radio. Every day he came on with his gravelly voice, and said, “Get in the move of God, For God is moving by His Spirit.”
There is a span of time of over 40 years in those recollections. God was on the move back then, and God is on the move today. Hallelujah!
One fellow down in Hollywood, FL told me a few years ago:
“God is not just on the move. God is a God of motion.”
So he never stops. The only time I read in the Bible that God took a break was after creation.
“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.” (Genesis 2:2)
The Psalmist reminds us:
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
(Psalm 121:2,3)
God is not sleeping. God has not discontinued his care for you. God was not affected by the time change last night.
Let us make every effort to keep step with him.
And, expect him to move on your behalf today. -PJF-
