Today I want to share with you concerning why some people do not get healed.
1. Attention derived from their condition. Especially in the case of non-life threatening endurable maladies.
2. Financial benefits received from pensions, or a pending lawsuit in regard to their sickness or injury.
3. The believer has lived long enough and feels like going to heaven is better.
4. Medical Matters
Those under continuing medical care trust the advice of the Doctor.
Medicines and treatments are maintaining livability and keeping issue under control.
Good medical insurance is covering most of the costs so that is not a burden.
Healing is not so important when there is good insurance and the best doctors and nurses are rendering constant care.
Some have become very familiar with medical jargon and procedures and are convinced that the best is being done for them.
Surgical procedures are available to alleviate the pain and suffering. These are the ones who pray for the Lord to guide the hands of the doctors and not so much seek the laying on of hands for healing.
5. Some believe they have a genetic condition and that they have to suffer from that.
6. Some religious folks believe God is trying to teach them a lesson or punish them through the sickness.
7. Unbelief through lack of knowledge of the word of God.
8. Ignorance; Do not know healing is available.
9. Not ministered to scripturally by the ones praying for them.
Let it be known that Jesus heals today.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Hebrews 13: 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Matthew 8:16,17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Psalm 103:2,3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
