The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23:1-6.
As a sheep belonging to the Lord’s fold I want to testify about the provision I enjoy.
I really do not have need of anything. I am well cared for. This sheep benefits from:
Stress free living
Refreshment
Restoration as needed
Guidance
Fearless living in the most challenging of circumstances
His Presence
Comfort
Defense against enemies
The healing touch
Abundant joy
Happy days
Eternal life.
Twelve essentials for a full life are mine.
Are you in need of any of these? Are you in His fold? Are you one of His sheep? Life begins not at a certain age but when you enter into right relationship with Jesus Christ regardless of your birth date.
See, you can be born again. And then your new life starts. The Bible adds in 2 Corinthians 5:17:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The benefits of a relationship with Christ begin immediately and are of a transforming nature. The haze lifts. Awareness is restored. Desires shift. Hope comes alive.
Jesus becomes your Shepherd. You enter into the covenant. The twelve essentials are now yours to enjoy.
Are you in?
Pray the prayer. Invite Jesus into your heart and life. Receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Believe He died on the Cross for you and that He rose from the dead. Be saved from your sins and fruitless life.
Amen. -PJF-
