11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Romans 13
Let me reiterate verse 11, “now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
Now is the time to wake up Church! Stop dabbling in the works of darkness. Stop drinking. Stop whoring around. Stop getting involved with stupid things that cause strife and envy. Stop it already.
Decide to stop. Make no plans to do it again. The Lord will help you even when you are tempted to go back. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says that when you are tempted beyond what you can handle, God will provide a way for you to escape it. Take the way out, do not stick around to see what will happen.
We were called out of darkness and into His marvelous light. There has to be a defining line where the world can SEE the difference between us and them. -SAF-
