Birth and death are natural events, life begins and life ends. Anything else during the course of life would be considered “life changing events.” Marriage, having children, getting a job, becoming a homeowner, to name a few are life changing events.
When you got married, you changed your life to make room for your spouse. When you accepted that job, you changed things in your life to meet the terms in your employee handbook. When you bought your house, you changed habits to make sure you have enough money to pay your mortgage on time.
Getting saved is also a life changing event. Just like all other life changing events, you have to make changes. The biggest change is not physical, but mental and spiritual. You have to change your thought process. You have to change the words you speak. You have to change your priorities to put the kingdom of God first. Yes, first, not second. The kingdom of God comes before you, before your family, and before your job.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33
Making this change in your priorities will produce major results that will glorify God and bring fulfillment that is truly life changing. -SAF-
